Spiritual power cannot pass through a person in whom resentment exists.   Things like slander, hatred, dislike and resentment are non-conductors of spiritual energy. At the beginning of a new day perhaps we should examine our lives and ask God to forgive us, and to take from our lives all ill will, grudges, hatred and jealousies.  And then we should let those things go - not allowing them to remain within us. A basic spiritual principle is this:  the measure we use for others, God will use for us.  If we do not judge others, God will not judge us.   If we do not condemn others, God will not condemn us.  If we forgive others, God will forgive us.   If we give, God will give to us a full measure, a generous helping, poured into our hands, more than we can hold.
